The goal of the redesign was to reposition IKAN online in a way that would attract higher-end renovation clients while still maintaining the approachable and trusted feeling that built their reputation in the first place.
The existing website positioned the company too closely to IKEA installations, when in reality IKAN had grown into a full renovation brand focused on thoughtful design, custom spaces, and elevated finishes.
We approached the redesign with a focus on both perception and performance. The new website needed to immediately communicate a more premium experience while helping visitors better understand the scope of IKAN’s capabilities. We focused heavily on clean layouts, intentional typography, stronger project imagery, and a more refined user experience overall. Every design decision was made to elevate the brand without making it feel cold or overly corporate.

One of the biggest goals was making the website feel aligned with the experience clients have when working with IKAN, organized, thoughtful, and detail-oriented.
We simplified the user journey and structured the content around the projects themselves, allowing the work to lead the experience. The website was designed to help potential clients quickly understand the quality of IKAN’s craftsmanship, their renovation expertise, their design approach, and the level of detail behind every project.

Beyond the visual redesign, the website was built strategically to support long-term brand growth. We designed and developed a custom digital experience that repositioned IKAN within the renovation and design space while improving usability, responsiveness, and overall conversion flow.
The final build included a refined UX/UI system, responsive development, SEO-conscious structure, optimized mobile experience, stronger portfolio organization, and layouts designed to better support inquiries and lead generation.
The completed website gave IKAN a stronger platform to showcase their work and attract the type of projects they wanted more of moving forward. More importantly, it shifted the perception of the company from an installation-focused business into a more elevated renovation brand capable of delivering thoughtful, high-end spaces from start to finish.
The website now feels aligned with where the brand is today — refined, modern, and built for the next stage of growth.
